Effective date: July 10, 2026  |  Last updated: July 22, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how PrintPlot ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use the PrintPlot mobile application ("the App") on iOS or Android.

PrintPlot is a business tool for mapping office equipment on customer floor plans. You can save projects on your device, place numbered equipment markers, record device details, and export PDF and Excel reports. When you sign in and enable cloud features, projects can sync to Google Drive or your organization's Microsoft SharePoint or OneDrive.

Automatically collected by service providers

We do not collect GPS location, contacts, calendar, health or financial data, microphone or camera recordings, or advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your information to send promotional marketing through the App.

4. How We Store and Share Information

On your device — Project files, floor plan images, and app preferences are stored locally on your phone or tablet.

Google Drive — When you sign in with Google and use cloud sync, project data is stored in a PrintPlot folder in your Google account under your control.

Microsoft SharePoint / OneDrive — When you sign in with Microsoft and configure your organization's SharePoint site, project data syncs to folders such as PrintPlot/Projects and PrintPlot/Exports within your Microsoft 365 tenant. Your IT administrator controls access.

Firebase (Google) — Used for email and Google authentication and optional crash diagnostics.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers (Google, Microsoft), legal authorities when required by law, or third parties with your consent (for example, when you share an export using the system share sheet).

5. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption and industry-standard authentication. Cloud storage access is governed by your Google or Microsoft account permissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure — use a device passcode and contact support if you suspect an issue.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data.

In the App you can delete projects, sign out, and revoke cloud access in your Google or Microsoft account settings. Contact printplot26@gmail.com to exercise privacy rights.
